I was so disappointed when I visited md Anderson with my father on his visit. I had expectations of this place being the gold standard of care and what I found was this not that. It is first a teaching hospital, second a for profit hospital, and third a market for experimental drugs. And a financial representative just informed me that MD Anderson has decided to participate with NONE of them. In other words, MD Anderson's motto is "Cancer, we have you surrounded; unless you're a poor or adopted kid, in which case GO AWAY, we don't care about you".
