I took some of my late Mother’s jewelry to Walter McTeigue for an appraisal and I had quite a good experience. He explained which pieces were only worth the value of their weight in gold, or individual elements, or gems, and which were designed in a way that would be valued in today’s market. We had a great conversation about design and I found Walter to be totally professional. I left thinking this way because I thought the prices he offered seemed fair. And I learned a lot, to boot!
