One star… they were prompt initially and of course proactive in consulting with us to get our money and signed contract for removal of existing flooring, refinishing of some hardwood in place, laying additional hardwood, sanding and staining all to match. Their communication is terrible once the process starts, we were constantly fishing for information and having to call and check on things - they’re extremely reactive overall. I have ordered a several area rugs/carpet/tile from McSwain over the past 15 years. Each time it has been a positive experience. And, the sign of great company and one I will remain loyal to, is when a mistake or problem occurs and how a company handles it. Things happen! They take responsibility and make it right. Our most recent purchase was a very large area rug. Kim, at the Blue Ash store, was fantastic to work with. She helped me come up with a solution that was a little tricky in one of our rooms.
