We bought beautiful hardwood floors a few years ago and everything was great until our dishwasher stopped working recently and we had to buy a new one.  We had worked with the salesperson when we initially purchased it and she knew we were choosing between 2 different floorings , one being an extra thick flooring which also cost the most and was a better quality than our other choice.  She warned us that our doors may have to be shaved to accommodate the extra thickness which turned out to not be a problem..  However, we wer... read more

Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience with McSwain flooring and will never have them or an Armstrong floor in our house again. Be forewarned, neither company will stand behind their flooring and the "lifetime warranty" they sell you is meaningless. We purchased an Armstrong vinyl plank floor (A6899 Luxe Plank) from them for our kitchen. It was supposed to be their top-of-the-line floor and was sold with a lifetime warranty. Company management sub par at best. Simple 4 hour project took 8 weeks. Company sent in sub contractor without a mask and who brought along young child. Not very professional during COVID 19. Not impressed by lack of follow up and managements unprofessionalism. Tried on multiple occasions for management to return my calls to no avail. My suggestion... stay away...plenty of qualified professional flooring companies around to do business with.

Unfortunately our plank flooring was improperly installed. BUT McSwain inspector, Tony came to our home and agreed. New experienced installers moved furniture, removed the improper floor and installed the floor correctly and replaced everything as was found. Too bad the first installers goofed!
