After a disastrous initial HVAC service McQ followed up and completed the HVAC inspection at no charge. At the time of this service I was told the coils of the AC were cleaned. With the follow up today the.technician showed me a picture of the dirty coils and asked if I wanted them cleaned. I was given a price of $342 which was after the military and senior discount. When I saw the large number of positive reviews, I dismissed the relatively small number of negative ones. I figured some people are just impossible to please. However, after having had McQuillan come to replace a light fixture over a kitchen counter, I wish I had been more cautious and more attentive to those reviews. I won't go into the details of my own experience, but I can say those 336 negative reviews now make sense to me. We had a fortunately minor sewer back-up in our basement. The technician, Zach, came out promptly and cleared the obstruction for a very reasonable price. Unfortunately, there were additional obstructions further down the line and we had another minor back-up a couple weeks later. Zach came out quickly to inspect it and when his equipment wasn't appropriate for the job, his colleague Garrett came out with heavier duty equipment.
