McNeil Jewelers was formed in 1946 when the founder Robert D McNeil came home from service in World War II and attended the Western Pennsylvania Horological Institute for Watch making. Known as the GI Jeweler, Bob and his wife Josephine began the business in small storefronts in the downtown Norwich area specializing in watch repair and carrying a variety of gift items. Unfriendly and unhelpful.
Staff is Always Helpful
Will never step foot in there again. Charged me an insane amount to change a watch battery and take out 3 links. Then proceeded to destroy the face of my Fossil watch. They also have a sign that says we buy silver I offered my necklace I paid over $800 for and they offered me $7 and change. They think they can get away with anything since skillins left town.
