Cares for animals and owners We love Dr. Rob. We live in Renton but drive into Kent because he's so great. We've had nothing but great experiences with him. He really has a heart for the owners as well as our pets. We recently called him while on a camping trip in Port Townsend. We were camping with a group of friends, and one of the puppies we were camping with got into a bees nest. The puppy's face started to swell. We werent' sure what to do. Dr. McMonigle is AWESOME!!! I have been going to the McMonigle clinic for over 20 years now. David McMonigle took great care of my 2 dogs and 2 cats and when he retired and Rob McMonigle took over the practice he took over where his dad left off and took great care of my animals as well! I send all of my friends with animals to Dr.Rob now and he is very caring and always has the best interests of the animals at heart. His staff is always welcoming and very professional! My daughter wants to be a vet " Just like Dr. Rob"
Uncaring all about money not pets!!!! I had posted before that McMonigle Veterinary hospital was good BUT not any more. I had to put my 18 year old cat to sleep and they way I was treated was awfull. They have turned cold and uncaring. They are all about money now. They have lost the compasion that they used to have. The vet that assisted me was very nice but the rest of the staff is uncaring. Caring Staff and Outstanding health care for our pets. Dr. Rob, Dr. Amy and their staff are wonderful! Recently we had a litter of puppies and one died. Because of Dr. Robs care we discovered our Dam had a virus and that it was the cause of the puppies death. We had to make sure to issolate our dogs from other animals for a number of weeks. If we hadn't had the care Dr. Rob gave our animals, we may have infected other animals. The best care we've gotten at a Vet Office, Bar NONE. I have known Dr. Rob for many years, but lived far away from his clinic. Decided to take a very special needs cat and dog to see him, thinking I could at least have more 'talk time'. I wish I had gone to see him LONG before. The first dramatic difference I saw was that instead of taking an already nervous dog to the lab to get a urine sample, we simple took a pan and walked her out the door to the little wooded area behind the clinic and when she squatted, slid the sanita... read more
Been going to them for 25 years They've seen a variety of our pound puppies and kitties over the years and have always treated them with compassion and concern. When we had to put one of our cats down due to kidney disease, they were very caring (I was a wreck) both before and after.
