Sat outside. Weather beautiful. Very original rustic outside appearance. Fits my ideal of an old stage stop or tavern. Inside looks great too. Has to be an intimate cozy feel on those dreary days. Food was good....not great... but good. Nice portion sizes. IPA served was citrusy and not over hopped. Great experience with my bride and two of my favorite people.
One of my favorite places to go relax and enjoy a beer with some live music!
Had snack and drink on the patio. Very friendly staff and pleasant outdoor dining.
I remember going to the original RCT for a concert. This new RCT is so much better with even a better feel than the original. Love the band at the front door, just like in the old days. Better bar, stain glass, now has 2nd floor balcony with exterior proches, wonderful intergration of exterior dining areas with interior. Also interesting intergration of an old Portland hotel fireplace into the river run rock chimney which is reminicent of the original RCT. Great architectural work. Food was good too.

Good music, wonderful friends, great food... ...and MUSHROOM LAMPS! Who wouldn't love it?!?
