Very disappointed by the greeting we received this evening. I understand social distancing, but asking us to go wait in our car that is stupid! I'm sorry I won't go back again!! Even after all this is done! You don't treat customers like that! there were tables that were well within the 6-foot distance. First night dining out at McMenamins only to have a table with a smoker within 6ft of us and our 3 children. When my husband went to politely ask the patron to put out his cigarette, the waiter interjected stating that he is allowed to smoke, just not within 10ft of children. We were seated well within 10 ft of the smoker, so the comment/statement was moot. Nothing like second hand cigarette smoke for desert 🤬 and an employee who doesn’t give two shits. Extremely disappointed in McMenamins and it’s employee.
RecommendedMy hubby and I spent the night in one of the attic rooms as he was ready to get away from the house for awhile. The room was the perfect size, and had a king sized bed and a private bathroom. We had pizza and black currant pear cider delivered to the room for dinner, and a wonderful breakfast the next morning. Everyone was wearing masks and was very focused on cleaning and keeping guests safe. It was a wonderful short get-away.

RecommendedWe are right smack dab in the COVID pandemic and after closing briefly, McMenamin's (Forest Grove) has opened up for to-go/pick-up orders. We placed a large order for our family tonight, complete with dessert and a growler. The service was amazing as usual and they have exceeded expectations in the care, presentation, quality and packaging of the to-go order.
