Beer, Beer, and more Beer! A great place for local brew! The food is good as well. I am particularly fond of the Hummus plate, the Communication Breakdown burger and the African Peanut soup (very spicy!). The North Bank branch has an excellent view of the river and is fun to sit outside in good weather to watch the wildlife in the river and the people on the bike path.
Riverfront Dining This restaurant is located along some of the best scenery along the Willamette River. The deck that is isolated from major roads is surrounded by green lawns that reach down to the river. The inside seating features good views as well. Consult their website for times that they serve meals since they do not serve late. It is a little difficult to find this place so consult the website for directions.
North Bank is gross frankly, i'm surprised this place is still open. i've eaten here on two occassions- neither of which were good. other than the location this establishment has nothing to offer. food qaulity is poor, selection is boring and the restaurant itself is a little on the "grimey". patio seating should not be limited to items manufactured by rubbermaid either...give me a break.
great views, so-so food the views is good, the service is fair. but the price for the quality of food is nothing to write home about. might not be bad for an afternoon drink if you can get a seat by the window
North Bank Our family loves going here mostly for the view and atmosphere, the decor is casual and homey. The food is quite good, but definitely overpriced. They have in interesting selection of drinks.
Great Atmosphere Typical McMenimins faire which I am pretty tired of. But this particular McM's has a really nice atmosphere since they rennovated it. Good place for joining friends for a beer.
How can you not love it? It's McMenamins! There's an old funky building. Great beer. Friendly but often out of synch service. Interesting food mix... who doesn't love a whole big basket of tator tots!? If you love McMenamins style, and/or want a nice relaxing place to hang with a group over a beer or a meal, then this is your place. PROS: Great beer, some great standbys such as tots and burgers CONS: Some menu items are way overpriced, like the meatball sandwich
Interesting Mix... The food is good, the prices high on some of the menu items. The beer is great, but sometimes the live entertainment is not really my style. If you just want to go meet friends for a casual late afternoon out, have a few beers & talk, this is a good place to do so.
Best place to hang out I love the atmosphere, very eclectic and open. Very good staff and wonderful beer. I was shocked when the food was great too, not just the regular greasy bar food fare. And don't go expecting the wait staff to have crisp white shirts, black aprons and lightning service. It's a place to RELAX, hang out, enjoy...
