RecommendedI have to give a shout out to McMakin Pharmacy in Beaumont, Texas. I live in Dallas and McMakin does one of my compound hormones. I have needed other prescriptions filled and didn’t want to go into Costco to pick up through this “safer at home” time. Doc calls in prescription to McMakin and it’s in my house 2 days later. Help from afar and they have been very accommodating.
I have always received excellent service and I continually recommend to all my friends and family.
I was treated very poorly when I attempted to use McMakin pharmacy this past week. The pharmacist, Mr. McMakin said, "I can't do this you will have to go to one of the other pharmacies you have used before". There was no explanation and made me very uncomfortable almost like i was doing something wrong. It was a presciption that i have been getting filled every month for years. I believe the most important asset any person or business can have is INTEGRITY! Doug McMakin, the owner of the pharmacy, has ALWAYS kept his word and he did that again today even though I'm sure he was eager to start his well-deserved 3-day holiday. There is no value or price for integrity; one either has it or not. I value integrity above all things because without it, there is nothing.
