From the moment we entered OrthoNow through the x-rays, provider visit, and the gentleman who fitted my son with an ankle brace, our experience was excellent. My son is 14 and has moderate autism, and he injured his ankle after a fall. I helped him from the car to a bench outside, and an employee who was waiting for a ride immediately jumped up and brought a wheelchair. This place was unhelpful for my daughter’s shin contusion. They were more concerned with telling me why she could not be seen. My child hurt her shin 11 days ago and it is nowhere near healed. She still has pain and swelling. I wanted her to be seen, yet was told at the front desk she couldn’t be seen because she already was seen at the ER on the evening of her injury at MUSC. Don’t go unless you just literally had an accident. They won’t see you even if only one other patient is there if it’s been hurting for more than two weeks or if you don’t know why you’re hurting.
