Please don’t judge this hospital by the negative reviews. My wife and I just spent the past three days here for the birth of our child via C-section, and I can honestly say the experience was beyond anything we expected — in the best possible way. Went in for chest pain and left arm/shoulder pain. Which turned into my left side going numb and becoming very dizzy. After 2 hours only pulse and bp were checked and I was told they did now know how long it would be to be checked on. Had to leave to find help elsewhere.
1st off I want to say that my wife and I we're quite shocked with the rating here, all in all its been a good experience. My wife had her 1st C-section here with my daughter 8 years ago and from what we remember everything was great including staff and Dr. Schindler. 3rd C-section with my son we ended up here again he was delivered 2 days ago by Dr. Tracy Nelson fantastic job even thr staff that assisted her especially Mrs wilma!. Zero review, if possible. I would never return to this hospital. Absolutely the worst care that could possibly have been given to me. The PA should NEVER have been pulling on my broken wrist to try to set it as there were multiple broken pieces in there. They should have just secured it and sent me home to a surgeon. The PA did more damage than help. The ambulance EMT was more helpful than the PA. Plus when applying a short arm splint, the PA evidently didn't do it right and removed it and did it again completely, pulling on... read more
I have had a few procedures at McLeod Health and have been very pleased with the care I received! Dr Ferraro and staff were excellent and addressed all my concerns about managing my pain from kidney stones.
