I cannot say enough good things about this place I have been to roughly 4 psych wards and McLean is truly exceptional. I would love to personally think if I had the opportunity a great many of the staff, Corinne Anthony Lila, Steve, Kim, Shelley….
Staff is incompetent at handling racism and racial trauma. This is why Black people cannot get quality care.
Not a safe healing space for Black people
If I could give zero stars, I would. The Dr. is so incompetent and wrongfully discharged me early because he thought I was attention-seeking and just there for 'fun'. I had extremely high SI, and he diagnosed me with BPD and just wrote off my SI as faking. He should not be a mental health worker if he can't even treat patients decently. I got discharged and ended up at another inpatient facility for 2 months, so clearly, I wasn't lying and needed the help. I did not get the help from McLean at all.
