Of that the handle on the bar cabinet fell apart recently, the latch mechanism in the Bassett sectional no longer works, the fabric on the sectional continues to pill and the cushion backs just have not held up even with rotating the cushions biweekly. The Bassett sectional just does not look like a nice piece of furniture. The fabric recommended by Randy was supposedly kid proof, but we do not find it easy to spot clean. Have made purchases from them for years-Never would go anywhere else!
I purchased a bedroom set and mattress about 4 months ago. My salesperson's name was Chris and he was rude, demeaning and pushy. I love my bedroom set but chose to buy the floor model mattress set. He said nothing was wrong with it. I expected a little wear on edges but it is so lumpy and sags quite a lot on edges with a huge ridge in center. I'm too upset with my salesperson and do not want to call them. I am very unhappy.
Furniture quality is very poor for the price. Our living room furnishings were worn down and haggard looking within a year.

McLaughlin furniture surpassed expectations with service professionalism, quality and customer satisfaction!! This family owned business convinced me that large corporate run stores and internet sites do not even come close to the personal touches we experienced when they solved an issue we had with a leather recliner that they did not have to replace!!! They deserve to receive the highest ratings and recommendations!! Go no where else but mclaughlins to buy furniture!!!

Bought roughly $8,000 of furniture with McLaughlin's recently. The order from one vendor came in and was delivered. Now my second part of the order is in and they won't deliver for 2+ weeks because they are that busy. Fine, maybe I'll pick it up. Not what I expect from an upper-tier store, but so-be-it. Nope, too busy with pick-ups and it will be "a while" before I'll even be able to get it myself. My husband and I took the drive into Novi just to look at a new leather sofa & loveseat. Randy explained finishes and grades of leather perfectly and we ended up ordering before we left. It was delivered today!! Love it!
