Horrible communication and lack of available therapists. The Schedulers and Supervisors do not answer their phones and do not respond to voice mails. My wife suffered a stroke and received superlative care at the Flint facility for 32 days. We were sent home and had speech and physical therapy contact us to start therapy. However, “due to the holidays” we were not scheduled until 10 days out. My wife was readmitted 11 days after returning home and was sent home after another 3 days in the hospital. Through mid summer to late Fall of 2025 we worked with one of the McLaren Hospice and Palliative Care Teams and they were outstanding. The team was Jaime (Social Worker), Mindy (Social Worker) Mary Anne (Nurse), Makella (nurse) Adam (Chaplain), and Tanikha (Aide) Every member of the team was personable, genuine, and deeply compassionate. My Mom had the best nurse , she really cared about my Mom and my Mom cared about her. Her name is Shelly and she will always have a place in my heart.
