McLaren often gets a bad rap when I hear people talk about it but my experience has all been good. I had a family member in over Covid, and they recieved very good care. Good physical and mental support. I've been in and out for the last 7 months now, and they have been exceptional. The PET staff are very kind and friendly, as well as the check-in staff. Felt well cared for.
Beware of their miss "coding" - 4 years in a row I have had to fight for hours with insurance because the staff cannot code correctly. I go in for a physical (Dr. Ismond) and they always mark it as something different. Is it on purpose to get paid more through my insurance and hoping I won't notice and pay as well? I have grown not to trust anything associated with McLaren.
Got a paper in the mail saying my personal information was stolen by a hacker after being seen at McLaren. I've had a continuous infection since last year due to a PA here cutting me open and then saying she didn't feel comfortable continuing and then NOT properly packing or bandaging the incision, and then she only prescribed me HALF the antibiotics I was supposed to be given.
