Ordered a new edger directly from McLane. During setup process, gave the starter rope an initial pull, it will not recoil. I called McLane and was told it was a Honda problem. They gave me a phone # for Honda which turned out to be Honda Automotive. They transferred me to Honda Motorsports who then transferred me to Pace (a Honda distributor) who in turn found me a warranty option 200 miles from my location. These folks were great, but I would need to take my motor to them to get warranty work completed. A lesson in futility... read more
I ordered a model 101 edger and, after assembling it out of the box, used it the next morning to edge my lawn. In less than 30 minutes of operation the cutter head pulley separated from the cutter head axel. When trying to call customer service , after 3 calls, I got very little help. I would not buy from this company again.
