Stopped in here on 8-2-25 and had a terrible lunch. Food was cold and very bland I had salmon broccoli and cabbage none of it was even warm. Wife had chicken mac&cheese and potatoes and again not very warm or very tasty. They did have good jello until I noticed a hair in the bottom of the bowl. Overall not impressed at all over priced cold bland food. Will definitely never be back. Save yourself the time and just eat a bologna sandwich it'll be better.
I remember going to MCL with my grandparents when I was younger. The food is always delicious and the staff is always friendly and super sweet.
Some of the staff have watched my children grow up and know us as soon as we walk in the door. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The food is hot and tasty and i recommend the custard for dessert! We love eating at MCL.
I enjoyed the chicken and noodles special yesterday with buttery mashed potatoes and homestyle green beans and a fluffy hot dinner roll. One of the only places you can get Harvard and Amish beets. Always makes me think of The Office. I doubt their beets come from Schrute Farms but MCL's food is good home-cooked style that brings you back to simpler times when real ingredients and real cooking was the way it's done.
