I had a large Bradford Pear tree in my front lawn split in half over a weekend in May. I called McKnight's on the following Monday, and had Sean the owner at my house on Tuesday to quote the job. He gave me several options to work with my budget. His crew came out to remove the part of the tree that was blocking the sidewalk that Thursday to help keep the HOA off my back. DON'T CALL, IF YOU WANT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! I chose to use this company based on the reviews and had someone come out to my house to give me a qoute. After we did the initial walk through together, he text a qoute to my cellphone and asked for my e-mail to send it there and also to schedule a time. Very happy with McKnights Tree Service. Did a good job this week at our home in Whitehall with trees close to the house that I have been wanting to trim and remove. Licensed and bonded and a very reasonable price.
This is the second time I've used McKnight's for tree removal and both times they have been extremely professional and hard-working. These kinds of services are not cheap especially for skilled workers. Both times I used them the trees were in precarious positions leaning over my home and they took them out with no issues at all. I would recommend them to anybody looking to have dangerous trees removed because you really get what you pay for in this kind of business. Removal of 34 inch diameter oak tree with branches extending over my house and also the road with a fence 6 inches from the tree. The crew was extremely skilled with no damage to any property, very respectful towards me and my lawn area, and the traffic on the road. The cost was also very reasonable.
