Do not sign a lease with this company we live in arbor flats. There was a shooting here a few months and nothing was done no tenants were notified. Homeless people live and have sex in the community pool. Last night a stream of cars were broken into. Nothing was done however rent continually increases and the property is absolutely horrible. Do not do not move here!
This is the worst place!! I used to live in 214 w hyde park pl and I moved out in June and they have not refunded my 500$ deposit not given me a notice regarding any deductions. I am unable to reach them at all!!
Dealing with McKinley as a landlord/property management company was an absolute nightmare. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I dealt with a termite infestation for YEARS that they never properly treated. Meanwhile, cracked kitchen tiles and ceiling fans literally hanging off the ceiling were ignored or “patched” with lazy, temporary fixes. The service was rude, dismissive, and painfully slow. McKinley as a whole deserves 0 stars. This is Carlyle flats specific - Management is like dealing with a brick wall. No communication and no updates about anything. Maintenance is quick to inspect repair requests but don’t expect anything to actually be solved. I’ve had a caving in / cracked kitchen floor since moving in oct of 2020. Carlyle Flats Specific-Do not rent here nor anywhere managed by McKinley Hyde park. It’s completely miserable. From bugs to rodents this place has it all. With extremely poor management that changes what seems like weekly to top it off. I’ve had very expensive car wiring replaced due to rodent damage. Make sure to spray your cars with repellent if you live here! The unit near me has a new renter every few months from rat issues.
