went looking for someone after a branch came through part of the roof. got three quotes, PR was the second one out. paul walked the roof, took pics, sent over a written estimate that night which was nice cause the other two took like a week. scheduling was about two weeks out, which was fine. day of the work they showed up early, finished by mid afternoon. follow up call a few days later to check everything was holding up. easy process
There had been a slow leak that kept showing up in the upstairs hallway ceiling every time it rained hard. Two other roofers came out before PR and both basically shrugged and said it was probably the vent boot or maybe ice damming. One of them wanted to charge me to redo the whole back slope without really diagnosing anything. Started looking around for roofers after our ceiling stain got bigger. Found PR through Wauconda Facebook group where a few people vouched for them. Quote came fast,work got scheduled and within two weeks. They pulled off the old shingles the same day they started. No leaks since. Easy process!!
PR did our roof last month and it went smooth. got a quote from them and one other place, PR was a little more but the guy spent way longer actually looking at the roof and explaining what shape it was in. that mattered more than saving a few hundred bucks tbh. they showed up with a full crew, had the old roof off by lunch, new one on by the end of day two. one of the guys walked me through what they found under the old shingles, showed me a few spots of soft decking they had to swap out. price didn't change from the origina... read more
