They wait until the last minute to notify family if ins run out. They harass the family because they no longer want your loved one. The nurses can yell and call family names when trying to get information! If you really love your family never go here! My father is a Vietnam veteran and all they want you to turn is your family over to the state they dont care they only want money! Corporate doesnt care but the state, bbb, and the governor's office as been contacted and the local news station is being contacted!!!
My mother's last days were spent in this facility and I can't say enough positive things about the staff there. I live out of state, and finding a place for my mother was a challenge from a distance. I had multiple phone calls each day she was there updating me on her situation. The nursing staff was attentive to her needs and to mine. On her last day, the nurse offered the use of her personal cell phone so we could communicate in a tender good bye. I'm grateful that Decatur has such a place.

Worked here for five years very unsafe for any elderly people to live it should not still be in business! Those s residents do not get cared or treated properly!
