First I checked with Google reviews and McKinlay and son had a “5” star rating, impressive. I then purchased a laundry room sink from Home Depot and McKinlay were vetted and recommended by the staff. The problem I had was that a lot of the other Ottawa plumbing companies are simply internet “FACILITATORS” who book work primarily using young apprentice trades people with a lot less experience. My sump pump was 11 years old and needed to be replaced as an emergency. So I searched for and found McKinlay and Son Plumbing. Craig showed up and replaced my sump pump with a Pentair Hydromatic Submersible Sump Pump and he added a Quiet Check Valve. Thank you so much Craig! I highly recommend this company as they show up and are efficient and honest and provide you with what you need and explained to me so I can fully understand what products were used and why.
