Very nice and friendly service department and relatively quick. Nice local gem
I just wanted to say that the experience I had with McKelvey Chevrolet was very good. They are a small town dealership that does not hassle you when you are looking at autos. No B.S. on price or trades No blowing up your phone all day No running back and forth to talk to a "sales manager " (like all the other dealerships) I will say they are willing to go above and beyond I feel they gave me a fair trade price and a good price on the truck I purchased I will be buying from this dealership in the future.
I can’t say enough nice things about this place! Specially the service department. I have a Chevy 2500 diesel and I get all of my oil and fuel filters serviced here and of course any thing that it ever needs, which luckily hasn’t been anything but the normal servicing. However, The other day my truck wouldn’t start. I had it towed there around 2pm, they called me by 3pm to tell me my fuel pump module had gone bad. They did work on my car without telling me the cost up front. When they thought the car would need more work, they did not let me know and just did the work. Then, they said I owed $350 more than originally quoted. If I could give a negative Star review I would.
My husband and I were looking for a vehicle after a drunk driver totaled our vehicle out. We went to several dealerships where we felt pressured to buy used cars at steep amounts. My mother in law suggested McKelvey. I'm glad we went there! Rush helped us to get into a brand new 2025 vehicle with low payments. We are more than happy with our car. In a year or two, we will be returning to buy a second car for our family. They are kind and it doesn't feel like they are just trying to sell you anything.
