Life is what happens to you when you had other plans! I never anticipated that I would be needing Social Security Disability benefits at my age and had been reluctant to apply. I applied for Social Security Disability after I was hospitalized for the third time with the same injury (due to diabetes and neuropathy in my foot). I HAD A BAD HEART ATTACK IN MARCH 2007. I LOST A BIG PORTION OF MY HEART AND IT IS NOT COMING BACK. MY EFI WAS 30 AND THEY PUT IN A DEFIBRILLATOR TO KEEP ME GOING. I WAS ALREADY ON CHIPS, THE STATE BACKED RISK HEALTH INSURANCE, SO MY COMBINED PREMIUMS AND BILLS WERE OVER $20000 YEARLY.
