If you can stand the attitude of nastiest woman I've ever encountered at the left front desk (has to be a relative, or she surely would have been fired by now), the actual dentist is very nice and thorough. The older woman on the right side (from patient perspective) at least tries to be friendly. Not sure how she can stand working with el'miserable on the left! my kids first couple visits went ok. Dr. McGuire was tolerable but the office staff was incredible RUDE and disorganized. Their third and final visit showed the dr's true colors. He wouldn't answer any of my questions as soon as I told him I had been researching orthodontists to do my daughters braces. He was literally walking out of the room backwards as he skated around the answers to my questions. I REFUSE to go back there and advise anyone I know against his office. I am just writing this as a warning to parents. I took my five year old son there because he had a cavity but his regular dentist only used novacine, and my son was very apprehensive..Upon ariving at the office I was greeted by a very RUDE and uncaring receptionist.Then followed up by an unprofessional nurse and the doctor himself was condecending and uncompassionate. He then proceeded to tell me that my son had not one but 10 cavities! He wanted to put my son under general anstesia and cap them all with silver caps. When I ... read more
You can never disagree with this man. He is a complete control freak. Arrogant, egotistical, liar. I got a second opinion on my daughters issues and ended up having a less invasive alternative presented to me. When I asked this guy to only proceed with some of his suggestions he went bizzerk. He called the other dentist claiming I said I was going to sue him and ranting other irrational stuff.
