I lived here 34 years ago. The men who owned it then were fantastic! (Can't remember their names) They worked with me as a single mother with no support. Old even then, it was cute and different. The rooms were all small but as a single, pregnant woman it was perfect! The kitchen had glass doors. (don't know if they still do) The bedroom barely fit a twin bed. And there was no central air. Genuinely could not recommend anything less. To start- black mold. While living there I had black mold covering the walls of my bathroom. It allegedly started with a sewage leak into my walls. It was gross and unlivable. I mentioned this the first time with no rectification even though I made it known that it was imperative to be handled. Three months later and larger mold spots I was finally told maintenance would be coming to fix it. Shady property management. Maintenance came in my apartment, with no forewarning or notice, while I was gone (RED FLAG #1!!!). My PlayStation was stolen, an heirloom ring from my grandmother, and god only knows what else — any/everything of value was stolen from me by their employees (yes, there is a police report). Did I receive any sort of reimbursement? No. Was my rent prorated to account for the theft? No. Did management acknowledge that an employee entered my apartment and stole from me? Yes.
