We had a great experience touring with Nellie. She was professional, efficient, and genuinely caring throughout the whole process. It was clear that she knows the community well and truly cares about the people who live there. One detail I especially appreciated was that she asked us to take off our shoes before walking into a carpeted unit. Nellie is the best manager I have ever had. She is incredibly responsive , takes care of every issue with enthusiasm, and always has a smile on her face, ready to help in every way possible. The building is spotless. Clean, fresh and taking pride in where I live is how I feel about walking through the lobby every day. I needed a maintenance call for my disposal. Tim came to my apt quickly and took care of the issue. Thanks Tim! UPDATE-I was really hoping that McGovern House would be the place I would live for a long time. I made a lot of friends, but Unfortunately there were two many problems(pet issues, garbage issues, management). It was no longer a calm, happy place. I moved to another Village Green Property. So far so good!

McGovern house is an awesome place to live. As an active duty servicemember, I’ve experienced many different apartments and landlords and McGovern has been one of the best. Nellie, the manager, goes above and beyond daily — she once moved a couch into my apartment when it was delivered while I was at work. Tim, in maintenance, is incredibly kind and efficient. Luxury experience all around. My one gripe is that I wish we had EV charging on site — it’s 2024, village green! Come on!
