We love Backstreet! During summer vacations in Cape May - for past decade- wife and I have at least two dinners per week. Hoping “ temporary closed “ is due to seasonality. You are the best!
Not just Simply Delicious, Absolutely PHENOMENAL
Nice mom and Papa place. Food is very good and similar to your own home cooking. Not a big place, but it is comfortable once you sit down. We ordered fish and lamb chops. They were delicious and we will certainly come back next time.
This unassuming fine dining restaurant served course after course of delicious soup (crab and corn chowder), salad (warm Goat Cheese salad with house dressing) and entree (salmon and grouper - both were delicious). Service was attentive, friendly and thoughtful. Our server, Coleen pictured below, was helpful with recommendations. The cozy unassuming atmosphere, with BYOB (no corking fee), and comfortable seating rounded out the experience.
Paid $42 for instant garlic & herb mashed potatoes. Can’t mistake the taste and texture for anything else. Everything else was decent. Friendly staff.
