I recommend taking the tour through the pistachio farm. It is very interesting. Inside the store, you can sample all flavors of pistachios and of course buy a few bags to take with you.
They have different flavor pistachios, ice cream and lot of souvenirs.

Learned about this while at the visitor center in Alamogordo. They have a variety of pistachios to sample. Enjoyed the stop and we also purchased some wine that was made at their winery.
We went on the pistachio farm tour and our tour guide, Katelyn, was so much fun and very family oriented. She was very funny, energetic, kind, and loved making you smile and laugh. This is a great place for kids of any age and great for families! The tour is even educational and you learn about the history of the farm and the stories and facts of the pistachios and grapes. Highly recommended it!
