I have been a patient of Dr. McGhee for 25 years, starting in my late teen years. My children and husband have all seen him as well over the years. We got a surprise discovery after Dr. McGhee operated on my husband that he has a medical condition we were unaware of and cannot process out certain medications given for anesthesia well, leaving his body unable to function properly on its own. The first thing he said when he walked into the room was “are you faking this?”. How dare him. My husband never complains about his health and is NOT looking for pain medication. I am disappointed how he was treated. We have no answers. Go to UAMS for treatment.

I am nearly 88 and had facial radiation for skin cancer. My left ear lost almost all hearing. Dr. Colclasure found it was totally clogged with ear wax due to the radiation and very small ear channels. He did a wonderful job of cleaning it out, and advised me to come every 2-3 months for cleaning and said I badly need hearing aids. I could not be happier to have him as my doctor.

He felt to be somewhat arrogant. This may all be because he was behind and trying to hurry, but first impressions are say a lot. Will continue to see him, because I heard he was the best doctor for the job. Maybe my impression will change.
