It's very expensive to get help from this company. Check your paperwork carefully if you want to work with them. We were told our bills would be reduced they actually doubled after getting a new HVAC. We checked paperwork and it said new machine to existing duct work. We told them originally that the ducts were bad. Anyways the machine by itself cost 11,500 then the ducts cost 9,550 dollars so a regular special needs family can expect to pay 20k for a working HVAC. Probably the worst day to call for an AC repair being as it was the hottest day on record for the year so far. I called at 730pm and was told probably 2hrs before a technician would call. Got call from technician at 845pm and asked what was happening. We told him we believed the capacitor was going. He said he did not think he was going to be able to make it out that night but we would hear back in the morning. I was a little disappointed in that but like I said it is peak season. Today I called McGees Heating and air on behalf of my elderly parents to see if they had any availability to go out and check their A/C unit. With the heat index as high as it is I knew it maybe impossible. The dispatcher gave me an appointment for the next day. I then explained their situation. My dad is practically on his death bed, my mom is not in good health and my sister lives there as well who just got out of the hospital a couple months ago after being there over a month sick with kidney and liver disease. I scheduled a service on my heating and air conditioner. It was just to see if it was working properly before the extreme heat. They came and said I was low on a part so went ahead and replaced. I realized about an hour or so after it was not cooling. Working fine before they came. I called but it was just after hours to complain. Also , bought a generator so I would have heat or air in case the power went out a year ago. Over 15,000 I paid. Never thinking a service call would put me with out air. I've actually been called and asked to take down my original review but what am I supposed to do? We got an expensive "new" unit 11,000 dollars. When we first got it it blew out cat hair and smelled like urine. There's been dozens of work men. A manager swore they'd make it good. This was after they bypassed the board.
