Both Chad and Nate have been wonderful. They are always very quick to come on when needed even if my horse interrupts their thanksgiving. Highly recommend
Both Dr. Harvey and the tech that came out to our farm did a phenomenal job with our donkey, Earl... a timid, very green rescue standard donkey. They were so gentle and good with him from start to finish. The procedure went very smoothly, and they got him all UTD while he was under anesthesia... so much less traumatic than trying to force him on a trailer and out to a vet clinic somewhere. He is healing great so far and we couldn’t be more happy with the entire experience of working with McGee Vet Clinic!!
I've had Dr. McGee do two pre-purchase exams for me and would ask him to do another in a heartbeat. He was responsive, friendly, professional, and listened to what I was looking for in a horse. I appreciate his thoroughness and wouldn't expect anything less when making an investment to buy a horse that I will spend tens of thousands of dollars caring for over a lifetime.
Love McGee Equine Clinic! Not only are the knowledgeable and amazing with animals but the McGee’s are incredibly kind and caring. Would definitely recommend!
Definitely don't recommend. Better question when they come out is what's not wrong with the horse. Deliberately tried to screw up my gelding several times during the examination. Acts more like a fresh out of vet school know it all and doesn't care how much you think you know about your own animal. Trying to sell? Treats you like a scammer during the exam. Another vet gave you information? Nope they're completely wrong about everything. Straight up rude, not worth the money or the 3 hours it took to do a usually simple exam.
Very compassionate with my horses. Takes time to explain everything that he's doing. More the happy with the care you give.
I love mcgee equine clinic. I run a quarantine barn and Dr mcgee is amazing at getting out here and taking care of my constantly changing needs with a constantly changing herd. I greatly value his feedback and reccomendations in the care of my own horses as well as the quarantine equines waiting to feel better and go to their new families. I wouldn't use anyone else, and his new vet is so amazing and really impressed me with how he treated each horse he saw like his very own. My horses and I met Dr. Harvey today. The horses loved him and they can be picky! I did too. Very knowledgeable and sociable. He took his time and listened to all of my concerns. I have complete trust in both the Docs of McGee Equine! Although, I hope we don't have to see them too much!!
