Dr. Postma is a brilliant mind when it comes to his diagnosis and treatment. He performs surgeries flawlessly and is unmatched in his ability to do his job. Now that we got the pleasantries out of the way, let me just say the way he talks down to his patients is frustrating. I get it. You want your patients to be healthy. That’s noble. But constantly repeating over and over about how badly I need to lose weight and following up each sentence with “now if you lost some weight…” Way to make your patient want to drink bleach. I had an endoscopy dilation done this year in late February. I will always be grateful for Dr. Postma performing a life saving operation to enable me breathing easier. But, I have since been diagnosed with something else that requires surgery. He asked me today when I would be having that done and I told him no date had been set as of yet, but, hopefully by June. He informed me I will have to have another surgery prior to the big one this Summer. But, my complaint is that he likes to hear himself talk and goes around the moo... read more
