Received my Face Down Recovery equipment less than 2 days after ordering. Huge shout out to Bailey. She was so kind with finalizing my order and was very helpful! The optional accessories seem to be just what I need to recover as comfortable as possible. My surgery is next week 6/3. Bascom Palmer gave me their brochure for an emergency Vitrectomy and I contacted them multiple times by their online form and phone and nobody picks up or replies.
This is my second time renting the equipment. Incredibly difficult. Instructions are seriously vague. Do they realize we've all had eye surgery and instructions should be clear and consis? The ONLY I said 2 and not a one, is the last girl I spoke to seemed concerned...... ??? Look how long ago positive reviews were.
A) I’m 63 years old and I think the cushions and devices are older than me. They are absolutely disgusting and the cloth provided to shield your face from prior users sweat and body fluids is ill fitting for the cushions. B) the instructions provided are essentially useless. Furniture from IKEA with 76 steps are simpler than these medical “devices”. C) there isn’t enough disinfectant around to make me feel comfortable with these items. D) now I understand why Medicare doesn’t cover the cost of this equipment. E). I’m still l... read more
