1/5 stars for a reason. You saw the doctor once, MAYBE twice (if you were lucky), was given meds, and then left to technically fend for yourself. The pills I am on make me extremely drowsy and I was expected to stay awake even though my head was in an extreme fog. After a few days there, I had trouble breathing due to the dry air. I went here a few years back in 2021 I believe. My first time ever being locked up somewhere. I was a scared kitten for sure. I was terrified you know you hear all the scary things about going to places like this. That they'll never let you out and stuff like that. I was there for 4 days. I had to be brought in for suicide risk. There i finally got the help and direction I needed. I enjoyed learning new ways about how to maintain my emotions. Probably best not to send a family member here for psychiatric care. My family member went after an episode and there was zero psychiatric care. It was a location for covid positive patients, but all they seemed to care about was covid. Not mental health. No actual doctor ever spoke to my family member and they did not check up on them. I brought extra clothes and such for them and they only gave him one pair of underwear. Thanks for wasting my time.. Would have been better off not going there.
