This Scottsdale golf gem shines even brighter after undergoing a massive golf course enhancement and renovation in 2011. During this renovation, course architectural changes were overseen by the original golf course architect, Randy Heckenkemper and included making many of the playing corridors wider, created additional waste bunker and adding additional teeing areas!

Could not be more perfect! If it were not for this place I would not have had the most amazing day of my life!!!!! We had our wedding held here on Saturday May, 14 2011. The staff was over the top nice, helpful, organized, and accomidating. The location is beautiful for a wedding. Everyone was very impressed with the quality of service, and the food. Sanctuary is great I contracted Sanctuary Golf Course at Westworld for our 36th golf tournament. After years at the Phoenician and other local courses, we happily moved to Sanctuary because they had much more competitive pricing and the staff is awesome. We will definitely return to Sanctuary in years to come.
Well known by locals as a great course The course is beautiful. It is close the WestWorld (the big white dome that you can see from the Loop 101). It has all of the luxurious features that you'd expect and beautiful mountain views (of the McDowells). It is a great course in winter, but check on the temperature in late spring because it's not as enjoyable when it's too hot out. PROS: Good location, close to the Loop 101 freeway. Luxurious facility. CONS: Kind of pricey - but that's to be expected
The Sanctuary golf Beautiful, challenging course! This was a very peaceful course to play in a great area. Prices are very reasonable in the summer, and about $75-$100 in season. I would recommend this course for any intermediate players. The course is also in a pretty North Scottsdale location, in the McDowell Mountain Ranch area.
