Dr. Scott McDowell has been my eye doctor for a number of years. I trust him with my eye care. A few days ago, during my eye exam, he advised me of exactly he could tell what size a small cataract was and how fast it was growing since two years ago. I enjoy talking with him about Scotch-Irish, Irish stuff, too. :) He doesn't mind taking a few minutes to talk about other things.
Dr. Scott and all the staff are the BEST! I have had issues with styes and dry eyes. I trust Dr. Scott and his expertise and care completely. I will never go any place else.

I can not begin to explain how wonderfully patient Dr. McDowell is. I have had a very frustrating time trying to get the right combination for my contacts, and ended up leaving another local Dr. office because they didn't want to take the time to figure out the problem. Not the case with Dr. McDowell. He promised me that he would do whatever it took to get my eyesight right, and after many trial and error's he was right. I've seen Dr. McDowell for years and just recently took my 7 year old to see him. Not only was he amazing with her, but his staff was as well. They met her on her level while providing excellent care at the same time. I would highly recommend them to anyone for their vision needs.
I've been a patient of Dr. McDowell's for more than 10 years now, I think, and am so thrilled he now has his own practice. Scott and his staff are over-the-top friendly. You definitely know you are cared about and leave feeling very special to be a patient in their care.
