Today we took a field trip to McDonalds Greenhouse. Pap calls it Ole McDonald's Farm. They've got all kinds of cool stuff for kids to see and do. Every Tuesday and Thursday from May, June and July they let kids come play from 9-noon for a donation. Pap said this is really nice of them to do this. I got to see some farm animals, ride on the tractor track, get some pictures of some really cool farm equipment and see the new flag Ole McDonald put up in memory of his parents. Local folks with great flowers and plants for spring and fall and a wonderful pumpkin patch experience. And plenty of room to host a reunion or other get together!!!!

A very nice greenhouse nursery, with plenty of varieties of annual plants, hanging baskets and vegetable plants. The prices are more than reasonable. They have a corn maze and autumn activities as well, which is seasonal. Fresh doughnuts are also made on site, which are yummy. If you are in need of healthy plants and a wide variety, this is a place you should check out.
