Jesus, this McDonald’s has been open for about 5 to 6 months and they can’t get it together. I don’t understand what’s happening here. I was excited to see a McDonald’s down the street but I honestly just usually go down to the 517 McDonald’s because this one is so bad order is always wrong. The management sucks. They don’t try to help you out and poor kids that they have work in there haven’t been trained to do their job so they have to basically hear all the bullshit from the customers I feel for them. This is my local McDonald’s. Despite it being a new location the service is horrible. They had me waiting 5 minutes in the drive thru to just order my food. And the made me wait another 10 minutes in lane 1 for my food to be ready. They always seem to be short staffed and confused.

On September 17, 2025, at approximately 9:40 PM, I was returning to Austin from Galveston and stopped at this McDonald’s location to purchase a chocolate sunday. When I received my order, it had only one thin layer of chocolate. I politely asked the employee if he could add a little more, but he refused and stated, “That’s all we put.” I have never encountered this type of service issue at any other McDonald’s.
