Today I was at the beach and decided to go in to buy a coffee. I was wearing a skirt and a bikini top. Nowhere near the beach has anyone ever called me out about my clothing. It doesn’t bother me—I understand that every place has its own dress code (although it’s the first time it’s happened to me at a McDonald’s).
