I wish I could say I am exaggerating, but unfortunately this seems to be the standard now. Approximately a 36 minute drive thru time with one car ahead of me at the order screen (4:40pm) to receiving my food (5:16). No explanation or apology at the window for the wait and the food was cold and appeared to be not fresh. Can confirm after tasting it that it was not fresh. Food not hot and bland tasting
Every time I come to this McDonalds I’m literally so infuriatingly disappointed by how long the wait time is. With no exaggeration included, I have waited in this drive thru for over 20 minutes on prior visits. It’s to the point I will no longer go to this location at all anymore. Do better.
We traveled from Pennsylvania and this was our first stop in Maine. The manager based on shirt color who helped us with order, was standoffish and impatient. I even forgot to order for two of our party. I sent them up with money to order for themselves. You want to feel welcome when you go to a new place and this wasn't a great first experience of Maine. Fortunately for us, the rest of Maine was so much better.
"can you park in spot #2 so we can forget you're there and you'll have to come in and get a refund" is their favorite thing to say! McDonald's asking people to park in spots and wait is why literally every other food chain will always be better, do yourself a favor and go across the street to Burger King. Never returning to this place
