Jim McDonald's recently did a home inspection at our condo for a pending sale. He was hired by the buyers. He cited our electrical box as non compliant. ( said we had illegal double tap on breakers that were clearly marked as a double tap and in full compliance). If Mr McDonald would have looked it was clearly marked as was the inspection pass sticker from the city of Rockford. We used Jim twice. In the first case, his inspection alerted us to serious issues with a house. In the second case, just the opposite. I found his walk-through explanations clear and very thorough. He answered my questions and was friendly. His written reports, in both cases, were so helpful.
