Nice selection McDonald Garden Centers houses a large selection of both annuals and perennials. The layout and display of flowers and shrubs are lovely and easy to navigate. The prices are fairly low, and they offer a good selection of flower-care accessories, gardening supplies, pesticides, and everything you need for your garden. The service is very good, and there are always people around ready to help you or to explain how to take care of your new flower or shrub.
Very unhappy with this place. I purchased eight beautiful blood orange rose bushes which I could not find anywhere else. After the first bloom which I saw at McDonald’s they were no longer blood orange they are now white. I bought these in March well I figured they would at some point maybe be blood orange again. No they stayed white the entire time. Now I went to return them. Bought a plant there on Wednesday went back for another cause it was a good deal. I pointed out to the cashier how good a deal it was and they questioned it and found they made a mistake but wouldn’t give me the same deal. I’m all about helping local businesses but cmon. Do the right thing. Actually went to Lowe’s they sold me the same thing for less
The manager at the location on great neck and first colonial is extremely rude. I will never go there again. I watched her treat a woman who was trying to buy a tree tonight very unfair and then sold the tree to another woman. It was ridiculous and I will never recommend or shop there again.
Just asked 2 people to help me with 2 very large and heavy pots that won’t fit on a cart. At $150 each you would think someone would help. Needless to say, left without the beautiful blue pots.
Just downsized to a new property and will be back and forth planting my new patch💜
They’re so helpful and friendly. I’m a big fan of their “pharmacy” (great resource) and Facebook live streaming sessions each week.
