As a 78-year-old widow residing at McDermott Place in Plano, I have been counting the days - now two weeks and one day - since I reported a maintenance issue in my 1-bedroom, 1-bath apartment. Despite paying nearly $1600 in rent, I find it utterly appalling that the management has failed to address essential maintenance concerns promptly. I strongly advise against moving to Mcdermott Apartments unless you're a handyman yourself or have one readily available. The maintenance service here is incredibly slow and unresponsive. For instance, I've been waiting for two weeks now for a simple request to replace a flickering bulb in the kitchen. It's practically impossible to cook with such poor lighting, and despite multiple requests, the management has yet to address the issue.
