My family loves McCurdy's. We've been going a few years, and never had a bad experience. Everyone is always helpful and friendly.

Business response:

Thank you Shanna for "CHOPPING" at McCurdy's.

Last year we went to McCurdy's for the first time. Every year it seems to get harder and harder to find a Christmas Tree Farm where you can cut down a Fraser Fir. McCurdy's had a wonderful selection of Fraser Firs to choose from, probably more than I've seen at any other Christmas Tree Farm in the area. Yes, their prices are more expensive...I think we paid $65-$70 for ours, however, the quality was outstanding. We had our tree up for a full 2 months, and even when we took it down, we didn't have the "trail of needles" left ... read more

Business response:

Christina, thanks for coming out to our farm, and we're glad you enjoyed your time here! We are also thankful that your son could enjoy himself- we strive to accommodate everyone as much as we can while you are here at our farm. Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas!

I'd give negative stars if I could. Two years ago, my hubby and I went to McCurdy's for a tree like we did every year. That year, they were cutting on their secondary lot. I found the perfect tree and my hubby cut it down. The next day I started decorating the tree and noticed my arm was itching. Poison ivy - on my arm, face, hands. My husband gloved up and threw out the tree. We called McCurdy's to tell them and we're told "ok, thanks." Nothing else. No, are you okay; no talk of refund and most importantly, no SORRY. NOTHIN... read more

McCurdy's have made their tree farm into a holiday Wonderland for enjoyment by your entire family. We've been cutting trees down there for years and we have a great time! Love that they have little bonfires going to warm our hands, and the tractor hayride is always fun

Business response:

Thank you. Lisa

I’ve been going to McCurdy’s since I was a little girl and love to keep the tradition going with my daughters.

If I could could give zero stars I absolutely would! We went there to cut our own Christmas tree the other year & were appalled to realize the trees were already cut & stuffed down into a pvc pipe buried in the ground! When we asked about it, we were told people "pay for the experience." So we overpaid for a pre-cut tree that wasn't even a very nice one, and it was a dried shriveled mess before Christmas. The whole experience was deplorable & we will never, ever return.

Business response:

We're very sorry that you did not have a great experience at McCurdy's. We do have a special section of trees that are precut and displayed for a cut your own experience, as well as about 100 acres of growing trees. We also have a freshness guarantee- if you are ever unsatisfied with your green product, please give us a call at 717-432-4017 and we will replace the product or refund your money.
