We had our boat hauled out and on the hard for a week so that I could do some work on it like changing the anodes and installing a line cutter on the prop shaft. I also hired some outside companies to paint the bottom and do some fiberglass work. The staff was great to work with and Andrew made everything go smoothly. This is the second time I've hauled out - the last time was just for a few hours. It's great having access to a boatyard that allows DIY work!

We kept our Lil' Hobo Houseboat at McCuddy's for 6 years. We loved the moorage, the management and the boat lift operators. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. The amenities were great....bathrooms, showers, laundry, ice, etc. Having the Island Café kept the Moorage lively, and was a good place to grab a bite when we weren't cooking for ourselves. The only reason we are not still moored on Tomahawk Island at McCuddy's, is that we sold our houseboats and bought a Floating Home on the south bank.

Nice, quiet, clean, well maintained, gated marina with one very nice, charming, good-looking live-aboard who is a gifted sailor, host and conversationalist. But I digress. This marina is also home to the iconic Island Cafe which can be accessed by land or by water, but in summer months can make parking one's car in the lot a challenge for residents and their guests. Great views of North Portland harbor, Mt. Hood, various boating and other water-activity-related antics, Christmas ships, and one particular sailor.
