Avoid during the weekend.... – The food was good, when we got what we ordered and when it finally arrived. I would have rather of gone somewhere else, b/c there was no organization or help for the people working there.

Surprisingly unimpressive – I was pretty disappointed by the food. Many of my friends love it there and I finally went after 4yrs about hearing how great the food was. Maybe I ordered the wrong dishes, but everything was very bland and dry. I should have gotten a regular lobster, you can't really go wrong with that. Maybe I should have only gone for happy like one of the reviews stated.

Sunday Family Dinner – The restaurant is pretty good and acceptable. We went with family and were four adults only. The servicer was friendly and amicable. The menu offering is larger than say a Legal's. Appetizers - the mussels and RI quahogs were a bit spicy. The chowder was fine. The broiled seafood platter was delicious and the traditional atlantic cod was great. The only thing too sour was the linguine with clam sauce - too much lemon juice. From A Server's Perspective – I really wanted to like this place. I work in the business and am always looking for places that offer quality product, service and good value. Unfortunately none of those attributes are found here. The food was only mediocre, overpriced and the service was definetly substandard. only go for happy hour – the $1.95 happy hour menu is fabulous, you get great portions for little money and its really good. The problem starts when you sit in the dinning room. The regular menu is rediculously overpriced. the food on the $1.95 menu is better! I cant believe I paid $100 for me and my girlfriend when i could have gone to Mcdonalds and got better service and food.Also they have about fifty seafood items at the top of the menu that you cant order, its jsut shows you the seafood they have. how confusing.

Terrible – We made a reservation at M&S a week in advance for 7:30PM at the M&S in Fanuile hall we arrived at 7:15PM and advised the staff we were here. He told me we would be seated shortly. My wife and I waited till 7:40 and approached a different gentlemen at the front. He checked my name again and told me "momentarily sir". average seafood for large prices – My girlfriend and I ate here for Christmas dinner; and while we were expecting top notch service, quality and ambiance, the results were slightly under par for what we paid. The food itself was quite good; however we could have gotten an equally amazing meal at compariable highend resturant. While I recommend this place for its fresh catch, I believe that in this town you can get equal or better quality at cheaper prices. I would try out other resturants before going back to this one.

For Seafood lovers – The seafood was the freshest I have ever had. The fried calamari melted in my mouth - it wasn't rubbery at all, like it usually is at other restaurants. The main meals are a little on the expensive side but unlike other fancy restaurants that charge a lot, you actually get 2 nice size side dishes along with your fish of choice. The only problem I had was that it was very loud and the women's bathroom was not as clean as it could be. I would definately go back again.
