Reasonable and Helpful I've been going to too many Chicago vets. They take forever and cost an arm and a leg, and they didn't help. I took my dog to 2 different vets. After charging me an arm and a leg for different tests... they didn't help. I knew my dog had something wrong but couldn't figure out what. I took her to Dr Roberts. He did an xray and helped me to understand it was cancer, and he didn't make me go broke in the care of her. Stay Far Away from McCormick Animal Hospital! Last night we had to put our family cat to sleep, due to the negligence of McCormick Animal Hospital. I highly recommend that you stay away from the veterinarians there, if you want your cat to live. We had been going there for 9 years, and last September, we knew that something was wrong with our cat. Dr. Roberts suggested that my cat had hypothyroid disease and need the $1000.00 RadioCat (should be called cat killer) procedure. After we did it, our cat was never the same. We to... read more
Cat Care I took my cat to this hospital once when he was very ill. The vet was very good, and the staff kept me informed of his condition even while I was at work. I felt comfortable with the vet and staff. PROS: Complete Care CONS:

Our dog, Samantha, enjoys her visits and time being boarded, which is unlike most other veterinarians. McCormick Animal Hospital is one of the most top level veterinians in the area. go to McCormick I have been going to McCormick for over 25 years. Dr. Roberts has been my vet for 3 dogs, he is an excellent veterinarian, and a great friend to my dogs. He knows when we need to see a specialist and when he can handle the situation. My first dog started having malignant melanomas. Dr. Roberts did the surgeries skillfully and at reasonable cost. He recommended we see an oncologist. This was before the internet was a common thing. I was able to find one locally. Community Animal Rescue Effort at Evanston anima... read more
